Machine Frame and Traction System
8.1 Structure

8.2 Description
The frame is a single structure on which
are coupled the traction system (only
IMx BT) and the tanks group. In the IMx
B and BB models the machine traction is
ensured by the mechanical friction sys-
tem; in the IMx BT version the machine
traction is given by the electric motor in-
stalled in conjunction with a reduction
gear, whose output shafts act directly on
the machine front wheels, ensuring trac-
tion. All models are fitted with mixed an-
tiskid / non-marking wheels. The IMx
BT model has a parking brake that acts
on the traction wheels through a control
lever (see fig. 8.3.1-33) situated in proximity of
the right front wheel.
