12.6 Enter & Exit Competition Start Examples
Pilots 2 & 3 are inside the cylinder. Just after 14:00 , the
countdown timer/Start Race becomes positive and
because the pilots are already inside the exit cylinder the
TP reached sound is given and the 6030 switches to
WP1. Pilot 2 & 3 exit. The cylinder.

Pilot 3 decides to take a
later start, returns to the
start cylinder and
presses the
"
key (with
next%pr&wp showing in
the Information Field).
The start time is indexed
to the 14:20 start and
the countdown
timer/Start Race will
start counting down
At 14:20 Pilot 3 will
again hear the TP
reached sound
and the 6030 will
advance to WP1.
Pilot 1 is outside the start cylinder and the countdown
timer/Start Race is counting down. Just after 14:00,
the countdown timer/Start Race becomes possitive
and the tripple beep is given. The pilot now proceeds
towards the start cylinder and the TP reached sound
is given as soon as the pilot enters the cylider.
