Changing the
torch hosepack,
changing the in-
terconnecting
hosepack
If a robot wirefeeder or media splitter is fitted to the 3rd robot axis, the following must be
taken into consideration when changing the torch hosepack or the interconnecting hose-
pack:
Every 6 months
- Open covers, remove device side panels and clean inside of device with dry reduced
compressed air. After cleaning, restore device to its original state.

1. Insulating parts
– Burned-off outside edges, notches
2. Nozzle fittings
– Burned-off outside edges, notches
– Heavily covered in welding spatter
3. Spatter guard
– Burned-off outside edges, notches
CAUTION! Risk of damage to the robot wirefeeder or media splitter from escap-
ing coolant.
- After disconnecting the coolant hoses on the torch hosepack, close the cool-
ant connections immediately using the cover provided.
- Position the robot so that the escaping coolant cannot flow back into the robot
wirefeeder or the media splitter.
NOTE! Risk of damage to electronic components. Do not bring the air nozzle too
close to electronic components.
