Transfer Protocol (Selecting a Transfer Protocol)
You can select a transfer protocol using the following procedure.
1 Select [Transfer Protocol].
2 Select any option.
îš„ FTP
Transfers using the FTP protocol.
îš„ SMB
Transfers using the SMB protocol.
îš„ SMB (UNC Format)
Transfers using the SMB protocol (UNC Format).
UNC stands for Universal Naming Convention and its format is as follows:
\\host name\shared name\directory name
Address Book (Specifying a Destination PC Using the Address Book)
You can specify the server name, the user name used for login to the destination server or
other computers, and other information from the Address Book.
Note •You cannot use address numbers input by the numeric keypad to specify the destination registered
in the Address Book.
For information on how to set the Address Book, refer to "5 Tools" > "Setup" > "Add Address Book Entry" in the Administrator
Guide.
When the Address Book Type 1 is Displayed
1 Select [Address Book].
Note •When you select [Address Book], the Address
Book [Type1] or [Type2] will be displayed
depending on the setting of [Address Book
Type] in the System Administration mode.
