Inserting a memory card
To use a memory card:
1 Insert the memory card into the memory card slot with the label facing
up and the arrow on the label pointing towards the notebook.
2 To access a file on the memory card, click Start, then click My Computer.
Double-click the drive letter (for example, the E: drive), then double-click
the file name.
Important If the memory card reader is not in the modular bay, you
need to swap modules or use the reader externally. For
more information about swapping modules, see “Changing
modules” on page 104. For more information about using
the reader externally, see “Using the memory card reader
externally” on page 142.
Important Insert the SmartMedia card with the label facing down.
Your notebook only accepts 3.3V SmartMedia cards.
