Connect a 25 to 30 ml syringe to the left purge valve of the Sample pump. Make sure
that the syringe fits tightly into the purge connector.

Open the purge valve by turning it counter-clockwise about three-quarters of a turn.
Draw 5-10 ml of liquid slowly into the syringe with a rate of about 1 ml/s.

Close the purge valve by turning it clockwise. Disconnect the syringe and discard its
contents.

Connect the syringe to the right purge valve on the Sample pump, and repeat step 6 to
step 8.
