8.9 Troubleshooting: Method development
Possible cause and actionScenario
•
The module required for the instruction has not been enabled
in the component selection in the administration module
Review the component list.
•
The wrong system has been selected when creating the new
method
Make sure that the right system has been selected in the "new
method" dialog.
Phase properties or text in-
structions are not available
in the method editor as ex-
pected
•
Action:

Open the method in the method editor.

Select to either adapt the method to the new configuration
OR
Keep the text method unchanged and manually replace the
text instructions that are not available for the new configura-
tion.

A method has been created
for a system that now has a
different configuration
•
Action:

Open the method in the method editor.

Save as and select the new system.
OR
If the configuration is different on the new system, select to
either adapt the method to the new configuration or to keep
the text method unchanged and manually replace the text
instructions that are not available.
