OptiControl ISC09 Adjustment instructions
Introduction
The rated air volume flow is automatically controlled by the fan operating
point Δp.
The 3 values of the System pressure Δp must be determined and
entered beforehand (see below: "Calibration when operating with
frequency converter").
The motor frequency can now be set to the operating point, which
generates the corresponding volume flow.
When the Fan Δp increases, due to an increasing filter resistance, the
frequency is corrected and the operating point is adjusted.
When replacing the filter cartridges, the Fan Δp decreases. In this case,
the frequency is corrected and the operating point is shifted downwards.
Calibration when operating with frequency
converter
1. Set the speed (frequency) to 50 Hz
2. Adjust the throttle valve on the after filter so that the Fan Δp displays
the pressure value 3 “ATEX: Stop powder”.
3. Measure the actual air volume in the ducting with an anemometer.
– If the air volume is correct, continue with step 4.
– If the measured air volume flow does not correspond to the set
value, the flap position on the after filter must be changed until
the volume flow measured with the anemometer corresponds to
the set value. (in this example 9,600 m³/h)
4. Enter the actual value of the Δp ATEX: Stop powder manually
under 6.
