8.4 Main Menu
If the start conditions are met in AUTO mode, a cycle can be triggered with one of the active
start options (shown in the title bar). The current device status is then shown in the title bar of
the main menu. The main device functions are additionally indicated by 6 red lamps in the main
menu.
GAV ready:
- Start conditions met.
- A cycle can be triggered with the displayed start
option.
Cycle up to stroke position:
- Blind rivet is processed.
- Spend mandrel is ejected and evacuated.
AUTO cycle up to stroke position
Cycle stroke position reached:
- GAV gun has reached rear end position.
- Spent mandrel is evacuated.
AUTO cycle stroke position reached
Cycle stroke position ready:
- GAV gun has reached rear end position.
- Spent mandrel evacuated.
- The GAV remains in this position during PLC
activation until the gun is moved away from the
workpiece and the "return cycle" signal was
sent from the PLC to the interface.
AUTO cycle stroke position ready
Return cycle:
- New blind rivet is loaded.
End of cycle:
- Home position reached after cycle.
