Calibrating the pH transmitter
1. Press "Cal" and enter the code 22 for calibration. The calibration menu now appears.
2. Press "E". Enter the value for the first buffer solution. Press "E".
3. Place the pH sensor in the first buffer solution. Start the calibration with "Cal".
4. When the pH value is stable for > 10 sec, the calibration of the first buffer is complete.
5. Enter the value for the second buffer solution. Press "E".
6. Place the pH sensor in the second buffer solution. Start the calibration with "Cal".
When the pH value is stable for > 10 sec, calibration of the second buffer is finished.
7. The calculated curve, zero point and calibration status now appear.
8. "Save" appears. Answer Yes to complete the calibration.
9. Reinstall the pH sensor in the process.
Pressure transmitter for DISCHARGE PRESSURE (0-2.5 bar)
Adjusting analog input
1. Remove the pressure transmitter from the process and connect a process simulator to the
pressure transmitter.
2. Set the process simulator to 0.500 bar.
3. Start CS1000 and select “Settings” > “Calibration” > “Automatic calibration”.
4. Select the "DISCHARGE PRESSURE" sensor and click on "Calibrate". See section Automatic
calibration (2.1.6.2.2), Page 48.
5. Enter the value 0.500 in the “Set Low” field and press “Set Low”.
6. Set the process simulator to 2.000 bar.
7. Enter the value 2.000 in the “Set High” field and press “Set High”.
8. Set the process simulator to 1.250 bar.
9. Check that value shows 1.250 bar.
10. Click on "Close".
11. Turn off CS1000.
12. Remove the process simulator.
