Load the back up in the "Flash Prom" to the PACS
Use ESD equipment to avoid electrostatic damage.
Electrical components
1. Turn off the power to the cabinet;
2. Remove the old “Flash Prom” with a prom lifter.
3. Press the “Cold Start” button next to the battery on the CPU. Hold the button during power up
of the cabinet, and release it when the red LED turns off.
4. Turn off the power to the cabinet; Install the new FlashProm.

5. Turn on the power. Now the application program is downloaded from the FlashProm to the
CPU.
6. Start the machine and make sure that everything is correct.
Changing of operating language
The language on the control panel can be changed in two ways: via the control panel or CS1000. What
language can be used depends on which System PROM the PACS 3500 has.
It is possible to change between these languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian,
Dutch, Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, Icelandic, Estonian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish, Czech,
Hungarian, Slovenian, Slovakian, Russian, Japanese, Romanian.
