Miscellaneous Settings
sizer signal before going into the effect stage. If effects are off this is a
nal level limiter. The setting is either on or off, with a default to off for
the Init program.
6. Pitch Wheel /Bend Destination: Modulation destination for the
Pitch Wheel as a source. The default is to the oscillator frequency for all
three oscillators. This can be set to any other destination, but the range is
always calculated in semitones.
7. Pitch Wheel Range Up: 0 to 2 octaves in semitone steps.
8. Pitch Wheel Range Down: 0 to 2 octaves in semitone steps.
9. MPE Voice Pitch Bend Range: Range is from 2 to 8 octaves. This
setting determines how wide a pitch bend range per voice the 3rd Wave
responds to via an MPE-capable controller.
10. MIDI MPE Y Cong: Unipolar or bipolar. This setting determines
the Y-Axis mode and how the 3rd Wave responds to it when used with an
MPE-capable controller.
11. Velocity Strength: Setting that determines the way the keyboard
reacts to your playing velocity - 1. Velocity Off; 2. Light; 3. Medium; 4.
Heavy; 5. Half 84; 6. Piano.
12. Pressure Curve: Setting that determines the way the keyboard
reacts to your after touch pressure on the keyboard - 1. Off; 2. Normal;
3. Sparse; 4. Hard 2; 5. Hard 3; 6. Sparse 2; 7. Light; 8. Light 2; 9. Fatar
Default.
13. Glide Mode: Fixed Rate or Fixed Time. Fixed Rate means that the
speed at which the glide goes from note to note is the same. This rate
is determined by the Glide Rate control. Since the speed is always the
same, it will take less time to glide between two notes that are close to
each other, and more time to travel the distance between two notes that
are far from each other. Fixed Time means that it takes the same amount
of time to glide between notes that are close to each other as it does for
notes that are far from each other. This amount of time is also determined
by the Glide Rate control, but in this case, the 0 to 127 range is setting
the amount of time it takes to glide from note to note, and not the speed
that is used to glide between notes.
