Importing Programs
If you connect the 3rd Wave to a computer via USB, you can copy any
previously archived programs to the programs directory (folder) on
the 3rd Wave. You can then use the import program and bulk program
import commands in the global menu to import and use the sounds. The
imported programs will overwrite any previous programs in the selected
destination.
To import a single program:
1. Connect the 3rd Wave to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Double-click on the 3rd Wave icon on your computer desktop and
locate the programs folder.
3. On your computer, locate the 3rd Wave program you want to import
and drag it into the programs folder of the 3rd Wave.
4. Press the global button on the 3rd Wave.
5. Use soft knob 1 to select the import program command.
6. Use soft knob 2 to choose go.
7. In the screen that appears, use soft knob 1 to choose the destination
bank, then use soft knob 2 to choose the destination program slot.
8. Press soft button 4 (ok). The program is copied to the chosen bank and
program location.
To import an entire bank of programs:
1. Connect the 3rd Wave to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Double-click on the 3rd Wave icon on your computer desktop and
locate the programs folder.
3. On your computer, locate the 3rd Wave program you want to import
and drag it into the programs folder of the 3rd Wave. Make sure only
the les you want to import are in the programs folder. Remove any
other les that may be there.
4. Press the global button on the 3rd Wave.
5. Use soft knob 1 to select the bulk program import command.
