Troubleshooting the 3rd Wave
Exporting Programs
You can use the export program and bulk program export commands
in the global menu to transmit a single program or an entire bank of
3rd Wave sounds to the
programs directory (folder) on the 3rd Wave. If
you then connect the 3rd Wave to a computer, you can then copy any
exported programs to the computer to archive them.
To export a single program:
1. Connect the 3rd Wave to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Press the global button on the 3rd Wave.
3. Use soft knob 1 to select the export program command.
4. Use soft knob 1 to choose go. The program is exported to the programs
directory of the 3rd Wave.
5. Double-click on the 3rd Wave icon on your computer desktop and
locate the programs folder. You can then copy the exported 3rd Wave
program to your computer to archive it.
6. When nished, turn any knob to return to the current program and play
the 3rd Wave again.
To export an entire bank of programs:
1. Connect the 3rd Wave to a computer using a USB cable.
2. Press the global button on the 3rd Wave.
3. Use soft knob 1 to select the bulk program export command.
4. Use soft knob 1 to choose go.
5. In the bulk program export screen, use soft knob 1 to select that bank
you want to export.
6. Press soft button 4 (ok). The programs are exported to the programs
directory of the 3rd Wave.
7. Double-click on the 3rd Wave icon on your computer desktop and
locate the programs folder. You can then copy the exported 3rd Wave
programs to your computer to archive them.
8. When nished, turn any knob to return to the current program and play
the 3rd Wave again.
