Envelopes 3/4
The 3rd Wave has two additional 5-stage envelope generators
(Delay+ADSR). These are useful modulating other 3rd parameters
according to the shape of the envelope. Routing an envelope to an oscil-
lator’s frequency, for example, causes the oscillator’s pitch to rise and
fall according to the contour of the envelope.
These extra envelopes can be routed to any of the modulation destinations in
the mod matrix. In addition, the extra envelopes can repeat (loop) using the
env repeat function in the menu. This is useful for cyclical 4-stage modulation.

Envelope 3/4 Controls
ATTACK/T1: (0-127) Sets modulation time for the envelope attack/stage-1.
The higher the setting, the longer it takes for the envelope to travel to
decay/stage-2.
DECAY/T2: (0-127) Sets modulation time for the envelope decay/stage-2.
The higher the setting, the longer it takes for the envelope to travel to
sustain/stage-3.
SUSTAIN/T3: (0-127) Sets modulation level for the envelope sustain/stage-
3. The mod level will stay at this setting for as long as a note is held on
the keyboard.
RELEASE/T4: (0-127) Sets modulation level for the envelope release/stage-
4. This controls how quickly the modulation reaches its zero value after a
note is released.
