2.6 Variants
The IO 111 is available in two variants:
• without communication module (standard variant)
• with communication module.
The product number (pos. 2) on the nameplate
shows the variant:
• 96575362 = standard variant.
• 96177804 = variant with communication module.
2.7 Potentially explosive environments
The IO 111 must not be installed in explosive
environments, but may be used together with
Grundfos SE pumps approved for installation in
potentially explosive environments.

4. Storage
The IO 111 may be stored for maximum two years,
see date on the box label.
Warning
The WIO sensor has been approved
according to EN/IEC 60079-18: 2004.
In Ex and IEC Ex applications, the
maximum current supplied to the
sensor must not exceed 350 mA
according to EN/IEC 60079-18: 2004.
Note: As the IO 111 is equipped with
this current limitation, no further
protection is required when using the
IO 111.
