Machine lubrication is supplied by the external lubrication system. Current lube
level is visible in the reservoir; Add oil as necessary to maintain proper oil level.
Warning! Do not add oil above the “high” line marked on the reservoir. Do not
allow the oil level to go below the “low” line marked on the reservoir as ma-
chine damage could result.

Lube Oil Filter
The way lube oil lter element is a 25-micron porous metal lter (94-3059). It is
recommended that the lter should be replaced annually or every 2000 hours
of machine operation. The lter element is housed in the lter body, which is
located in the oil pump reservoir (internal lters).
To change the lter element follow these steps:
1. Remove the screws that hold the oil reservoir to the pump body,
carefully lower the reservoir and set aside.
2. Use a strap wrench, pipe wrench or adjustable pliers to unscrew
the end cap (see the gure). Caution: Use a screwdriver or similar
tool to stop the lter from turning while the end cap is removed.
3. Remove the oil lter element from the lter body once the end cap
is removed.
4. Clean the inside of the lter housing and the lter end cap as re-
quired.
5. Install the new oil lter element (p/n 94-3059), O-ring and the end
cap. Use the same tools that were used to remove the lter end
cap, to tighten it - Do Not Over Tighten.
6. Replace the oil reservoir; ensure the gasket seats properly be-
tween the reservoir and the top ange.
