Verify Spindle air pressure using the gauge located behind the main air regu-
lator. VF, VR, and VS mills should be set to 17 psi. EC-series and HS Series
should be set to 25psi. Adjust if necessary.
12K & 15K Spindle
The air pressure for 12K &15K Spindles is 20 psi. The 12K &15K Spindles
require higher pressure to slightly reduce the delivery speed and amount of oil
on the bearings.

The Minimal Lubrication System consists of two sub-systems to optimize the
amount of lubrication to the machine components. The system supplies lu-
brication only when it is needed; thus reducing both the amount of lubrication
oil required for a machine, as well as the chance of excess oil contaminating
coolant.
(1) A grease system to lubricate the linear guides and ballscrews
(2) An air/oil system to lubricate the spindle bearings.
The Minimal Lubrication system is located next to the control cabinet. A locked
door protects the system.
