Chapter 1 Overview
1.1 Product Introducon
The F Series Network Speed Dome is an integraon of HD camera, PTZ moon control module, and
video content analysis algorithms, ideal for remote monitoring.
The device has basic PTZ funcons, such as presets, scans, and target tracking, and smart
funcons, such as Road Trac, Face Capture and Smart Event.
The device is well suited for HD monitoring in various places, such as rivers, forests, roads, railways,
airports, ports, oil
elds, posts, squares, parks, scenic areas, streets, staons, stadiums, residenal
blocks, prisons, libraries, shopping malls, hotels, government buildings, museums, and banks.

Funcon
The key funcons of the device are as follows. Actual funcons may vary for dierent models.
Face Capture
The device captures human faces according to set pupil distance or capture threshold and uploads
the pictures to the center.
Road Trac
The device captures vehicles on road and upload related vehicle informaon, such as license
plates.
License plate
recognion of mulple countries and regions are supported.
Event
The device detects basic events and mulple smart events, such as line crossing detecon,
intrusion detecon, region entrance detecon, and region exing detecon.
PTZ
The device supports PTZ funcons, such as presets, scans, patrol, smart tracking and power-o
memory.
