5.2.2 Setting the Synchronization Method
What is PLL?
PLL stands for "Phase Locked Loop" and is a phase synchroniza-
tion circuit. The 3169-20/21 uses PLL to generate a frequency syn-
chronized with the fundamental wave (50/60 Hz) and multiplied by
128, to sample input waveforms of voltage and current. If there is
no PLL input (PLL source), there is no means of sampling input
waveforms, and calculation cannot be performed. This is called
"PLL unlock." When there is no PLL source, the 3169-20/21
switches the synchronization method over to the internal clock (50/
60 Hz fixed clock).

(NEXT SCR) key to display the measurement setting
screen. (3169-20: SET UP 1/4, 3169-21: SET UP 1/5)
Move the cursor to "
