FM Alternate Frequency (AF)
When AF is switched on and the
current FM station becomes too
weak, the radio switches to a
stronger RDS capable station with
the same program identifier code.
AF can be switched on or off.
1. Press CONFIG (A).
2. Touch R ADIO tab.
3. Touch FM.
4. Alternate frequency:
Touc h On or Off.
AF is displayed when selected.

FM Traffic Announcements (TA)
When TA is switched on and an
announcement is transmitted, it will
be audible via the radio.
TAcanbeswitchedonoroff.
1. Press RADIO (O).
2. Touch FM.
3. Touch More.
4. Touch TA On.
The TP search pop-up is
displayed.
The radio searches for TP
stations.
5. To cancel TA search, touch
Cancel.
Note:

If no TP station is found, No TP
station is displayed.

When seeking a station, only TP
stations will be found. See
“Seek” later in this section.

If listening to another source, the
TA will still be audible for the
duration of the announcement.
FM Program Type (PTY) Seek
Tune to radio stations by
program type.
There a re six categories: Pop,
Country, Classic, J azz, Rock
and Any.
1. Press RADIO (O).
2. Touch FM.
3. Touch More.
4. Touch PTY List.
The list is displayed.
5. Touch a program type.
The radio searches for stations
with the selected program type.
