2. If the DVD player was previously
in the DVD player mode, press
MODE (14) on the DVD player
controls or SOURCE (25) on the
DVD remote co ntrol.
The display will appear on the
video screen(s).
3. Pressing MODE (14) on the
DVD player controls will change
to the next available source, CD/
FM/AM/DVD/AUX (Caprice
V-Series).
Pressing MODE (14) on the
DVD player controls will toggle
between the auxiliary device and
the DVD player (Caprice).
Video format in the auxiliary mode
The auxiliary input video format is
preset to NTSC.
In some cases the v ideo format may
be in the PAL system.
The DVD player will detect the video
format and set the video screen(s)
automatically.

auxiliary plugs exist on external
devices.

If you have problems connecting
audio and displaying video, the
plug on the external source may
be incompatible with the
vehicle’sAUXinputsocket.

Use a plug of the type shown.
Multimode operation
(Caprice V-Series)
In multimode operation, the front
and rear passengers can choose
the source independently of each
other.
1. Choose a source on the audio
system.
2. Choose any of the rear sources
(rear AUX or DVD) and any of
the audio system sources (CD/
radio/f ront AUX).
With headphones off (multimode
off), the front and the rear
passengers share the same source.

Use the rear controls if they are
not locked. See “Lock/unlock
rear seat con trols” later in this
section.

Press X (58) on the DVD player
controls to toggle between
headphones on/off.
