If the vehicle speed:

is less than the navigation
system speed limit, the speed
symbol will be grey.
.
Is greater than the navigation
system speed limit, the speed
symbol will be coloured red.
There is no audio alert with this
warning.

always be up-to-date.
Road conditions, such as detours
and road construction works,
change frequently.
Traffic regulations have priority
over any instructions from the
navigation system. Always follow
posted road signs, speed li mits
and road restrictions.
This feature is available in guidance
and non-guidance modes.
1. Press NAV.
2. Touch t he Nav config tab.
3. Touch ▼ to select the second
Nav config page.
4. Touch Speed limit warnings.
5. Touch t he corresponding button
to switch Speed limit warnings
on or off.
The option selected is indicated
by
V.
6. Touch Back to exit and return to
the previous screen.
Traffic Message Channel (TMC)
TMC provides traffic and travel
information.

The information is displayed in m ap
view using symbols. See “TMC
symbols” later in this section.
TMC is digitally coded using the
FM-RDS system on conventional
FM radio broadcasts.
Traffic information is only available
in areas where it is specifically
provided by local FM radio stations,
therefore it may not be available in
some areas or towns.
TMC may be switched on or off.
