What to do if there is a power supply system failure in my HP Switch?
- JJoseph SchultzAug 7, 2025
If you're experiencing a power supply system failure with your HP Switch, begin by checking the power cable connections and re-plug any loose cables. If the issue persists, try replacing the power cable and observe the LEDs. Ensure the power supply is fully seated; if not, reinstall it. Verify that the power source is working correctly and providing the correct voltage. Also, check for any output short circuit, over-current, over-voltage, input under-voltage, or over-temperature problems. Try plugging the power supply into an empty slot to see if the slot is the issue. Finally, test with a known good power supply in the same slot to determine if the original power supply has failed and needs replacement.
