either a component or a blank.

The fan setup can either be standard, single-rotor fans or high-performance, dual-rotor fans. Do not mix fan types in the
same server.

To prevent damage to electrical components, properly ground the server before beginning any installation, removal, or
replacement procedure. Improper grounding can cause electrostatic discharge.

1. Power down the server.
2. If installed, open the cable management arm.
