Depending on whether you created the target volumes for your FlashCopy mappings or you
want the system to create the target volumes for you, the following options are available:
򐂰 If you created the target volumes, see “Using existing target volumes” on page 516.
򐂰 If you want the system to create the target volumes for you, see “Creating target volumes”
on page 522.
Using existing target volumes
Complete the following steps to use existing target volumes for the FlashCopy mappings:
1. Select the source volume that you want to use. Then, click Actions → Advanced
FlashCopy → Use Existing Target Volumes, as shown in Figure 10-15.
