6 Remove the ceramic shield on the bottom of the old detector assembly.

7 Install the ceramic shield removed in step 6 onto the new Electron Multiplier
assembly.
8 Install the new Electron Multiplier assembly into the sensor can.
9 When installing the sensor back into the feedthrough, ensure that the two pins
on the bottom of the detector align with the two pins shown in Figure 6-13.

10 Reverse steps 1-4 to reassemble the Transpector MPH sensor.
