3.3.5 PERFORMING DISCOUNT PROCESSING
A bargain price in addition to the unit price and fi xed price can be registered in adavance
in the item data. There are six different bargain prices: markdown price, discount amount,
discount rate, markdown unit price, discount unit price amount, and discount unit price
rate.This section describes the method of performing discount processing.

Select a markdown
type button after
numerical entry.
When touched without numerical entry, the
markdown screen is displayed.
When touched after numerical entry, the
markdown price can be entered.

On the production (markdown) screen, enter a numeric value and touch
[U/P -$]. The production screen will automatically appears and display
the discount unit price amount.

[U/P -%]. The production screen will automatically appears and display
the discount unit price rate.

Touching [SPECIAL] in the markdown mode selection field after
entering a numerical value on the markdown screen will automatically
return the display to the production screen and displays the set
markdown price.

display to the production screen and displays the set discount amount.

Touching [SPEC. U/C] in the markdown mode selection field
after entering a numerical value on the markdown screen will
automatically return the display to the production screen and displays
the set special unit price.
(This setting cannot be made if the selected item is a fixed price item.)
