10.2 Usage Maintenance
1. To shut down NVR, please firstly shut down the system and then turn off the power. Do not
turn off the power directly or HDD data will be lost or damaged.
2. Please keep NVR away from heat sources or direct sunlight.
3. Clean dust around the NVR. Make sure the good ventilation of NVR so as to ensure the good
heat dissipation.
4. Do not plug audio or video cables into the NVR while it is turned on (hot plugging). Best price
is to have all required cables connected before powering on the NVR.
5. If you live in an area that experiences regular brown outs or black outs it is recommended that
you connect the NVR to an Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) that has surge protection.
