5.10 ARPA SETTING
The following constants to be used for ARPA can be referred to and modified:
[ 1] SIMULATOR : Pseudo targets are generated on the radar display to check
whether the ARPA functions are operating normally.
[ 2] VD LEVEL :Quantizing level for the video to be inputted to the target
detection circuit.
[ 3] VECTOR CONSTANT : Constant to calculate the ARPA vectors.
[ 4] GATE : Gate size to acquire and track targets.
[ 5] TEST VIDEO :Test video for use in checking the operation of the target
detection circuit.
Each of the constants will be described in detail below.
CAUTION
Simulation is a function to check whether the ARPA system is operating normally. Do
not use this function except when checking the ARPA operation.
In particular, if this mode is used during navigation, pseudo targets appear on the radar
display, which may be confused with the actual targets. Do not use this mode during
navigation.
Otherwise, this may cause accidents to occur.
