1 Set the radar to Master Radar when the Interswitch is installed.
2 Press to display VRM1 and set the range of VRM1 to 16 - 18

* Set the range to 16 to 18 NM when a waveguide is installed between the scanner unit and the
transmitter-receiver unit. (X band radar)
* Set the range to 18 NM when the transceiver unit is
incorporated in the scanner unit or in case of operating the S
band radar.
3 Carefully read Section 8.5, adjustments before opening
the ADJUST menu.
4 Press .
“8.PM PRESET” will be set and the radar will automatically be
set to RM, OFF CENTER OFF, IR OFF, PROCESS OFF,
TGT ENH OFF, FUNCTION OFF and 24 NM range.
