1.2 FEATURES

Compact Design and Low Power Consumption
The radiator structure making the most of wind power contributes to the substantial reduction in size and
power consumption of the S band scanner unit.
Self-diagnostic Program Incorporated
The Self-diagnostic program always monitors all the functions of the system. If any function
deteriorates, an alarm message will appear on the radar display and an alarm sounds at the same time.
Even when the system is operating, the functionality test can be carried out. (except on some functions)
Performance Monitor
The radar performance (transmitted output power and receiving sensitivity) can appear on the radar
display.
Easy Interswitch Operation (Option)
By additionally installing an interswitch PC board, up to 3-units of the JMA-9800 series radar
equipment can be combined and switched over by simple operation.
