8. Tap Program. The M-Unit begins connecting with the lock. The screen displays a
message indicating that the M-Unit is connecting to the lock. You can click Abort to stop
connecting for any reason.
9. With the screen facing upwards, hold the M-Unit up to the lock at a distance of between 4
inches and 10 inches (10 cm and 25 cm). Position the top edge of the M-Unit parallel to
the infrared glass window located above lock code buttons 1 and 2.

Note: If you receive a message that the communication failed, repeat the procedure.
Ensure that you are holding the M-Unit in the correct position, pointing it straight at the
lock lens, and at the correct distance.
