7.11.1 Straight pipes
Uniform wear can be achieved by regularly rotating the straight delivery pipes through 120°.
The minimum wall thickness for straight pips is shown in the following graph.
7.11.2 Elbows
Uniform wear can be achieved by regularly rotating the elbows through 180°. The wear on the
external radius of an elbow is greater than that on the internal radius or on straight pipes. You
should, therefore, take special care when measuring the wall thickness of the external radius of
an elbow.
The minimum wall thickness for elbows is shown in the following graph.
Rotate delivery pipes and elbows regularly.
