KCP Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. Operation
5-7
The following faults can lead to blockages:
- delivery line insufficiently wetted;
- transfer tube leaking;
- lines leaking;
- left over concrete in the transfer tube and delivery pipes;
- unfavorable concrete composition;
- segregated concrete;
- set concrete.
Caution _____________________________________________________________
In the event of blockages, pump the concrete immediately back into the agitator hopper and
mix it up. You can switch over to forwards pumping when the delivery cylinders and the S-
tube are switching over automatically again without problem. Begin pumping again with
care.
5.3.2 Overheating
Continuous operation under high loading can lead to overheating of the hydraulic fluid. All
pumps have a thermo-electrical cutout. The pump is automatically shut down if the fluid
heats up over 90°C.
Proceed as follows to prevent this:
► Check that the hydraulic fluid radiator is operating correctly. If not, you can
switch it on using the toggle switch on the control cabinet.
► Reduce the output.
► Fill the water box with fresh water as soon as the fluid temperature rises
above 80°C.
► If the engine it overloaded, stop the engine at 1000 rpm and cool down the
system
► Set the rpm at the speed higher than the ‘ratting speed’ 900 rpm
