7.8 Changing delivery pistons
This maintenance describes how to change the delivery pistons on the pumping kit
When replacing the delivery pistons you will have to start and stop the machine a number of times.
The operations necessary for this are described below and must be carried out conscientiously.
Carry out all machine functions from the cable control.
7.8.1 Lock drive cylinder 1(passenger side) in the end position
Drive cylinder1 is located on the right looking in the direction of travel. You may block drive
cylinder 1 in the end position to make is easier to remove the delivery piston. This is done as
follows:
► Start the engine and minimize the R.P.M.
► Switch pumping on and turn volume to minimum.
► Close the ball valve.
► Switch the pump off when cylinder 1 is moving to the top.
7.8.2 Block drive cylinder 2(driver side) in the end position
The stroke equalization line incorporates a ball valve.
► Close the ball valve.
► Minimize the R.P.M and repeat pumping and back pumping alternately.
► Switch the pump off when cylinder 2 is moving to the top.
In the open position when working.
