4.2 Mounting of Deliver Line
- Delivery lines must be installed free of pressure, tight and easily accessible.
- Should be easy to mount and dismount coupling on the deliver line
- The deliver line system must be accessible at any point. In case of section with difficult access,
it is recommended to use thick walls two-layer pipes.
- Since deliver line remain for a long period at the same place, wooden wedges would be useful.
*. Vertical delivery lines for high-rise conveying
- Only practically new pipes must be used for great heights mount. Thickness of deliver line
should be thick and check coupling.
- Pipe of lowest area should be thick and easy to mount and dismount.
- Pieces of straight delivery lines and elbows are anchored onto walls, auxiliary scaffoldings,
crane towers or in shafts.
* Descending pipes
- Having a difference of height of less than 20~30M, it is recommended to send hard sponge
balls in order to avoid slurry from flowing away to hold the weight of the slurry.
- Having a difference of height of more than 30M, it is significant to mount a fall brake in the
vertical descending line.
Caution ____________________________________________________________________
The vertical delivery line must not rest on the elbow as the elbow does not serve as a
support for the vertical line. The delivery line should be mounted without deformation and
tightly and should be support itself with correct anchory.
