7.10.8 Remove the S - tube
Replace the S - tube if the wall thickness has fallen below the minimum.
► Remove the agitator shaft.
Lifting out the S - tube
► Push the S - tube forwards until the s-tube outlet is free.
► Lift the S - tube outlet opening first upwards and out.
Note ___________________________________________________________________
If you are replacing the complete S - tube, fit the new tube in the reverse sequence to
disassembly.

► Fit the new S - tube.
7.10.9 Fitting the wear plate
► Check the O-rings in the connector ring on which the wear plate is placed.
► Clean the mounting surfaces and grease them with multipurpose grease.
Caution ________________________________________________________________
The wear plate lies only against the O-rings of the connector rings. There is a small
clearance between the wear plate and the hopper wall. The fastening bolts (outer
fastening bolts) should only be tightened by hand. Make sure that all bolts are tightened
slowly and gradually tightened one by one.
