5.1 Starting up
When you take over the machine, you must become very familiar with the equipment that
damage and accidents cannot occur.
Every time you use the machine, you accept full responsibility for the safety of anyone
located in the machine’s danger zone.
You are therefore under an obligation to ensure that the machine is completely safe in
operation.
5.1.1 Test run
Carry out a test run and function checks prior to beginning work on the construction site.
Take measures immediately if there is problem
5.1.2 Pump functions
- Check whether the drive cylinders are switching over automatically as soon as the pistons
of drive cylinder 1 (on the right in the direction of travel) approach the forward or rear
sensing valves.
Stroke time
Set the drive motor to the maximum speed. Close the flow regulator down. Measure the
stroke time over ten individual strokes. The value determined, divided by 10, must comply
with the ratings on the machine card.
