KCP Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. Safety Regulations

2.4.2 Operating safety regulation
1) In installation of outriggers, sufficient safety zone should be required.
2) A free space of at least 1m at all sides around the equipment should be provided for
installation safely It is recommended to install equipment on reinforced concreted area
which will remain over a longer period of time at the same location.
3) It is recommended to fix equipment thoroughly on the ground in case of developing high
pressure and big output.
4) Sufficient light should be provided when the equipment is installed.
5) Delivery lines must be installed free of pressure, tight and easily accessible. Pieces of
straight delivery lines and elbows are anchored onto walls, auxiliary scaffoldings, crane
towers or in shafts.
2.4.3 Safety rules for spraying the concrete
1) Carry out a test run and function checks prior to beginning work on the construction site.
2) It is strictly prohibited to access or climb the machinery other than equipment operator.
3) Dirty filter reduce the fluid flow considerably so that damage may occur in the hydraulic
system.
4) The process of starting to pump with thin concrete is completed when the two sponge
balls and a solid concrete steam exit from the end hose.
5) Never use force to pump segregated concrete or concrete that has become lumpy
because it is beginning to set into the delivery line. Blockages can very easily be caused in
this way.
6) Since inside of mixed air is condensed air, it could be a danger of bodily injury with
scattering during discharging the air.
Thus inside of the hopper should be packed with the concrete during the discharging the air.
If the pipes are disassembled in the condition of the pressure remaining inside of the
transferring pipes, it could be a danger of bodily injury with the scattering.
Before the disassembling it, remove the pressure remaining with pumping back operation.
