7.10.4 Dismantle the S-tube seal housing
The S-tube is mounted in the S-tube seal housing in the rear wall of the hopper.
► Open the grille on the hopper and secure it.
► Suspend the S - tube from suitable lifting equipment.
► Remove the lubrication lines from the S-tube seal housing.
► Remove the fastening bolts for the S-tube seal housing (2).
► Force the seal housing out by screwing the two jacking bolts into the jacking holes.
► Check the sealing rings and O-rings in the S-tube seal housing for wear and
replace as required.
