:FREQuency[:SET] <NRf>
[:SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency[:SET] <NRf> Set measurement range for distortion
Parameters <NRf> = 20 to 20000 Input signal frequency for distortion
Query :FREQuency? Query programmed frequency
Description The Model 2016 must know the frequency of the fundamental of the input
waveform whose distortion is to be measured. This function lets you enter the
frequency of that fundamental. Setting a frequency value will turn :AUTO
OFF. The frequency may be set any of four different ways:
• Entering a value via GPIB with the [SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency
command.
• Entering a value via the front panel.
• Using the [SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency:AUTO ON command.
• Using the [SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency:ACQuire command.
The query response is the value entered by this command or the most
recently acquired frequency. In the auto mode, the response is also the most
recently acquired frequency.
:AUTO <b>
[:SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency:AUTO <b> Control auto frequency acquisition for
distortion
Parameters <b> = 1 or ON Enable auto frequency
0 or OFF Disable auto frequency
Query :AUTO? Query auto frequency (on or off)
Description This command controls the automatic measurement of the frequency of the
fundamental of the input waveform whose distortion is to be measured. With
auto frequency enabled, the Model 2016 will measure the frequency before
each reading. It will then use that measured value as the fundamental when
calculating the distortion. When disabled, the last frequency acquired is used.
:ACQuire
[:SENSe[1]]:DISTortion:FREQuency:ACQuire Measure the frequency for distortion
Description This command initiates a single measurement of the frequency of the
fundamental of the input waveform whose distortion is to be measured. It will
then use that measured value as the fundamental when calculating the
distortion. Sending this command disables auto frequency.
