The tachometer indicates the engine
rpm.
The mark "▲"(3) indicates approx.
engine rated speed. You can have
the 540 PTO rpm while the engine
speed is around this indicator.
For speedy and effective work, ad-
just the work load so that the engine
rpm is close to this mark "▲".
The hourmeter does not operate if
the engine is stopped even if the key
switch is in the "ON" position.
This gauge indicates the remain
-
ing fuel level after the key switch is
turned to the "ON" position.
F : Fuel is fully lled.
E : Replenish the fuel tank.
If driving is continued with the needle
below the position "E", air may enter
the fuel supply system. In this case,
"bleed" the system. (For detailed in-
structions, refer to "Bleeding fuel sys-
tem" in the chapter "Maintenance")
Make sure to use only correct
fuel as the engine can be dam-
aged if unqualied fuel is used.
Use fuel for winter season in
cold weather to start the engine
easier.
The gauge needle can move on
a hill as fuel slopes in the tank.
NOTE
There is no warning lamp for
running out of fuel. Therefore
replenish the fuel immediately
when the needle approachs
the "E" position.
