DIFFERENTIAL LOCK PEDAL
The hand throttle lever is to control
the engine rpm. The engine acceler-
ates to its full speed by pushing the
hand throttle lever ( position)
com-
pletely out while pulling the lever
(
position) decelerates the engine.
The hand throttle lever is mainly used
while working in a eld.
(1) Lock Pedal
(A) Release to "DISENGAGE"
(B) Depress to "ENGAGE"
The differential lock is to secure the
differential system and keep the
wheel rotation on both sides the
same in order to enhance the trac-
tion of the rear axle.
Depressing the pedal engages the
differential lock while releasing the
pedal disengages the differential
lock.
Use this system under the following
conditions:
Do not use the hand throttle le-
ver while driving on the public
road. Otherwise it can lead to an
accident as it becomes hard to
decelerate the tractor rapidly.
CAUTION
1. When any wheel slips and the
tractor does not move in the eld.
2. When it is hard to escape a soft or
muddy eld.
The differential lock should be
engaged only while the driving
clutch is engaged. If the differ-
ential lock pedal does not move
when depressing it, try to de-
press it again after releasing it.
When engaging the differential
lock, reduce the engine speed.
After engaging it, accelerate
the tractor.
Make sure to set the steering
wheel in the straight ahead po-
sition while the differential lock
is in use. Otherwise, the differ-
ential system can be damaged.
