of the auger-type cross conveyor.

10.8.3 Removing the floor plates
To prevent stones or other foreign bodies from
accumulating inside the conveyor channel during the
operation of the augers, the floor plates (1) and (2) of
mower (3) can be removed as follows:
Before removing the floor plates (1) and
(2) be sure that the ignition key is
removed and the machine is secured so
that it cannot start to move on its own.
The following steps are described for the
right hand mower side.
The removal of the floor plates located on
the left hand mower side has to be carried
out in an analogous way.

Lock the mowing units against lowering
using appropriate securing chains.
Raise lateral mowing unit (1).
Fit securing chains (2) to lateral mowing unit (1).
