Cable routing guidelines
Note: You must route these cables into the base before you attach the plastic
transformer holder or transition board to the base. Otherwise, you may not have
clear access to the cables when you need to connect them to the main board or
transition board of the InTouch.
Point of entry

Ethernet cable: 16 in. (40.6 cm) of slack after the
point of entry into the InTouch
Remote reader cable: 23 in. (58.4 cm)
Through the bottom of the
InTouch base
Ethernet cable: 6–12 in. (15.2–30.5 cm), depending
on which hole is used
Remote reader cable: 10 in. (25.4 cm)
Transformer with 6-ft. cord: 12 in. (30.5 cm)
