CustomletsyouchooseasettingforEcoPrint.SelectingCustomwithout
EcoPrintresultsinadefaultsettingtothehighestprintingsystemresolution.
Incolorprinting,colorinksortonersareappliedseparatelytoapage.Acolor
imagehasitscomponentcolorsappliedincolorseparationsofcyan,magenta,
yellowandblack.Thesecolorseparationsmustbealigned(registered)
preciselytoproduceaqualityfullcolorimage.Duringprinting,thepaperor
mediatypemayshiftslightly.Whiletheshiftmightbeverysmall,thegaps
betweenthecolorsintheimagecanbenoticeable.Colortrappingcorrectsitby
overlappingcolorsslightlysothatminoralignmentissuesarecorrected.
Tousetrappinginadocument,selectavaluefortheprintoverlappixelwidth:
Light,0.5pixeltrapping;Medium,1pixeltrapping;Heavy,1.5pixelstrapping;
VeryHeavy,2pixelstrapping.

Acomputerfontisadatafilecontainingasetofglyphs(visualrepresentations
oftextualelements),characters,orsymbols.Commontermsforfontsare:
Bitmapfontsdefineeachcharacterasapatternofpixels(thesmallest
resolvablerectangularareasofanimage).Suchfontsarenoteasilyscalable
anddistortwhenreducedorenlarged.
Outlinefonts,incontrasttobitmapfonts,aredefinedasasetof
mathematicallinesandcurves.Anoutlinefontismoreeasilyscalable
(designedtodisplayandprintclearlyatanypointsize)thanabitmapfont.
Nativefontsarethebasicororiginalfontsinstalledwiththecomputer
operatingsystem.TrueTypefontsarethenativefontsusedbyMicrosoft
Windows.
TrueTypefontsareatypeofscalableoutlinefonts.TrueTypehaslongbeen
themostcommonformatforfontsonMicrosoftWindows.
Systemfontsaretheprimaryfontsusedbytheoperatingsystem.Theyare
typicallyaccessedthroughanapplicationinterfaceorthroughacommonfont
