U977 Data capture mode
Description
Store the print data sent to the machine into USB memory.
Purpose
In case to occur the error at printing, check the print data sent to the machine.
Method
1. Press the power key on the operation panel, and after verifying the main power indicator has
gone off, switch off the main power switch.
2. Insert USB memory in USB memory slot.
3. Turn the main power switch on.
4. Enter maintenance item U977.
5. Select [Execute].
6. Press the start key.
7. Send the print data to the machine.
Once the print data is stored into USB memory, [Finish] will be displayed.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Checking the developing unit number
Description
Displays the developing unit number.
Purpose
To check the developing unit number.
Method
1. Press the start key. The developing unit number for each color is displayed.
