U127 Checking/clearing the transfer count
Description
Displays and clears the counts of the transfer counter.
Purpose
To check the count after replacement of the
transfer belt unit or transfer roller. Also to clear the
counts after replacing transfer roller.
Method
1. Press the start key. The current counts of the transfer counter is displayed.
Clearing
1. Select [Clear].
2. Press the start key. The counter value is cleared.
Setting
1. Change the counter value using the cursor left/right keys or numeric keys.
2. Press the start key. The counter value is set.
Completion
Press the stop key. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is displayed.

Checking toner motor operation
Description
Drives toner motors.
Purpose
To check the operation of toner motors.
Remarks
When driving the toner motors long time or several times, developing section becomes the toner
full and is locked.
Method
1. Press the start key.
2. Select [Toner].
3. Press the start key. The operation starts.
Completion
Press the stop key after operation stops. The screen for selecting a maintenance item No. is dis-
played.
