8.12.2 Setting the Internet FAX Reception
To receive e-mail using Internet fax, use Printer Management Utility or this
machines control panel to set the mail server (POP3 server).
Using Printer Management Utility
1 Start up Printer Management Utility.
2 Enter the administrator access code, and log in to Administrator mode.
3 On the Network tab, click E-mail / Internet FAX, and then click
Receive in the sub-menu that appeared.
4 Specify settings for the following.
POP3 Server Set the IP address of the POP3 server.
POP3 Login Name Set the login name of the POP3 server (up to 63 characters).
POP3 Password Set the password for logging in to the POP3 server (up to 15
characters).
Mail Check Set whether to periodically check the mail server contents.
If No is selected, e-mails will not be received.
If Yes is selected, set the interval for checking the mail server (in
minutes).
Port Number Set the port number of the POP3 server.
(Normally, use the default value of 110.)
POP3 Connection
Timeout
Set the connection timeout for the POP3 server.
